okay it’s like 3:02 in the morning right now but hear me out righ
what if being any kind of danger prone ran in the family and one day kaisa saw this really pretty woman walking down the street and just kinda watches her walk until she confidently strides directly into a stop sign after tripping on a crack in the sidewalk
after running over to make sure she was okay, the woman laughs as if it’s a common occurrence and introduces herself
so that’s the story of how kaisa got a new friend who frequently visits the library after finding out where she worked, and something kaisa’s noticed is that her new friend johanna’s always covered in bruises or scratches whenever she visits the library (kaisa offers to bandage them up, she kindly rejects cause she doesn’t wanna waste any bandages or anything), and it reminds her of that one blue haired girl that keeps coming over to the library and asking for help
she laughs it off as a funny coincidence, but another thing johanna and ‘blueberry’ (as kaisa likes to call the little runt) have in common is that they’re ALWAYS in some kind of danger, whether it be immediate or underlying
so after getting to know her some more kaisa decides to protect her when she can, not caring about the severity of the situation (ranging from leading her out of the way of a lamppost when they’re on a walk together to scaring off a bloodthirsty animal with loud shouty noises or secrete magic)
johanna, oblivious as a rock, doesn’t notice what kaisa had been doing until the latter got hurt in a particularly bad situation
johanna realizes what she’d been doing and helps kaisa come back to full health, but she feels incredibly guilty for dragging kaisa into her mess, but kaisa reassures her that she’s willingly been helping johanna out
johanna, stubborn as a mule, tries to find ANY way to help, which kaisa thinks is honestly kinda cute
Honestly might add more to this post in the future but now it’s way too late
